Welcome to Gears & Stuff. This site is a collection
of all things gear and machine shop related. Please excuse the periodic
messes here as we are continually updated the site with more information
and material. After over 12 years in the
gearing industries, I got tired of searching through folders, desks,
books, etc to find different information that I needed about gears. I
decided to start compiling the different formulas, papers and
information that I had into a booklet, and from there realized a
"booklet" would not be quite big enough. So here we are.
This site is free for anyone to use and download
any information that is on here. I would hope that eventually others in
the gear industry would send in additional information, critique our
information or give us some more ideas on what they would like to see
here.
